[MTL] Gem of Notre-Dame de Grace – Prohibition

Prohibition is located in the beautiful, not-so-touristic, Notre-Dame de Grace, which is on Monkland Avenue. I've never explore or been to the neighborhood, but I already had my eye on Prohibition since my first year in Montreal. Since I didn't go home right away after school ends, I had the chance to explore a bit more of Montreal outside of downtown. I believe that brunch shouldn't be just for weekends, and Prohibition starts brunch-ing on Friday!

[MTL] Everyday is Brunch Day – Ma’Tine

For the past four years in Montreal, no matter how many brunch spots I've tried, Lawrence still stays "the one" on my favorite brunch spot. However.. the ranking has slightly changed lately. Ma’tine is the new gem on the food scene, located in the gay village (5-10 minutes walk from station Beaudry). My first visit there was for lunch (See this), and the great experience had brought me back for brunch.

[SF] Morning Gluttony – Tartine Bakery

One of the most occurring name that popped up when I googled "must eat in San Francisco" - Tartine Bakery. Since it was my first time in San Francisco, I tried to cover all the cafes and restaurants on my long list. It is located in the Mission District. The first time I came across Tartine Bakery was reading an article about their collaboration with Blue Bottle Coffee. As I looked more depth into this bakery, I found out that it barely has any negative reviews on Yelp, and have also been featured on SF Gate, NY Times, Wall St. Journal...etc. (Not to mention how many blogs review they have..).

[MTL] “du jour” – Ma’tine

Ma'tine is the new gem on the food scene, located in the gay village (5-10 minutes walk from Station Beaudry). I had kept an eye on it for a while, and finally got the chance to visit after my last final exam and right before I left for Christmas break! The heavy snow did not stop me from making a trip there for lunch.

[MTL] Unique, Cozy, Country – La Petite Adresse

I have to admit that this is a long overdue post that I just didn't have time and chance to write it. I visited in March 2014. I have to say that it is really easy to just walk by La Petite Adresse without noticing it! I accidentally discovered this spot when I was going to Milos (my favorite Greek restaurant in Montreal!). It is just right next to it, literally. My friend and I decided to go try it as soon as we saw their menu at the door!

[Recipe] Overnight Oats

It's National Oatmeal Day today! Even though I'm currently overwhelmed by the school works, I still want to share my current breakfast & lunch crush: Overnight oatmeals! It is one of the simplest breakfasts to make and prepare. There's no cooking involved! Sounds great, right? :D It only takes 4 simple steps. It takes less than 10 minutes, and you're tummy will be satisfied the next morning!
