[MTL] A Mediterranean Sunday – Ikanos

"Where to brunch?" is the question that's always on my mind as soon as hump day hits. Ikanos is located on Old Montreal's one of the busiest streets. The restaurant has its reputation out there for specializing in contemporary mediterranean cuisine. Recently, Ikanos is making its way to join the brunch game in the city by introducing a unique brunch experience remaining true to the Ikanos style, a Mediterranean style menu with a twist on classic brunch staples.

[MTL] MTL à Table 2016 A Portuguese Affair – Helena

Helena, is a Portuguese restaurant located in the Old Montreal, right on McGill street. I've already heard a lot about the restaurant before the visit (I even have Chef/owner Helena Loureiro's cookbook!), so I had a bit of expectations for it. As an avid seafood lover, my friends have been telling me how good their food are, and the fishes are very fresh. I'm glad that it's one of the participated restaurants for MTL à Table, which finally allowed me to have the chance to try it out, and it didn't disappoint.

[MTL] Urban Market – Marché des Éclusiers

As the trees are green, sun is out, daytime is longer, people are outdoor longer. Therefore, where to go? In case you get bored of the plateau, explore south to the Old Montreal. Marché des Éclusiers , the new project of the co-owners of Fabergé, is a new hybrid market that focused heavily on locally sourced and sustainable produce. It has recruited various local small business owners, vendors, and farmers. It's the place where you can chill and enjoy a drink, grab some food with friends and family after strolling around the Old Port.
