[SF] The Legendary Roasted Chicken – Zuni Café

When I first brought up my potential San Francisco trip to my friend K (see her post), the first restaurant that she recommended was Zuni Café. She was talking about how juicy and tender the roasted chicken is, and telling me the tips about making reservation...etc. Therefore, I put it down on the list, and asked my friend in San Francisco to help me make a reservation. Guess what! We already made the call a month ahead, but the lunch services were booked till 2 pm!

[SF] Morning Gluttony – Tartine Bakery

One of the most occurring name that popped up when I googled "must eat in San Francisco" - Tartine Bakery. Since it was my first time in San Francisco, I tried to cover all the cafes and restaurants on my long list. It is located in the Mission District. The first time I came across Tartine Bakery was reading an article about their collaboration with Blue Bottle Coffee. As I looked more depth into this bakery, I found out that it barely has any negative reviews on Yelp, and have also been featured on SF Gate, NY Times, Wall St. Journal...etc. (Not to mention how many blogs review they have..).

[TO] Scones & Jam – Kitten and the Bear

After school finished in April, I visited Toronto for a few days before my graduation in June! Kitten and the Bear, a dainty, 1940s-style tea room locating in the area Parkdale of Toronto, has been on my to-visit list for a long time. It's an artisanal shop, and a cafe as well. I first had their scone, thanks to my friend Ashley, and I loved it! And thanks to my other friend, Karen, whom drove me there! :)

[SF] Cafés Hopping in the City by the Bay

School is over, and summer has begun. I planned a trip to San Francisco in early May! It was my first time in the west coast of USA, and I have fallen in love with the city (except its extremely strong wind). Anyways, before visiting, I've already seen and heard a lot of good cafes in San Francisco. Here is a list of my favorite cafes in San Francisco! (Yes, San Francisco has more than just Blue Bottle Coffee...)

[MTL] Dainty tea room in the Plateau Mont-Royal – Le Parloir

I am attracted deeply by those British 3-tier afternoon tea set. It has always been a must whenever I visit Hong Kong. For the past few years in Montreal, I've been looking for a decent spot, but surprisingly, it wasn't as easy as I thought! Even the classy Ritz-Carlton's high tea disappointed my friend and me greatly. IMG_6949 Le Parloir is a cute, charming, and cozy tea room located near Metro Mont-Royal. The European inspired decors levels up the experience, as you would feel like you are in Europe while sipping your tea with Victorian china. The first thing I noticed as I entered was the flowers on each table!

[NYC] Cafés Hopping in the Big Apple

I was so excited when I booked my trip to New York for my spring break, as I already have a long list of cafes and restaurants that I want to visit. Since I couldn't find a favorite one to feature, I decided to do a summary of all the cafés that I have visited during my 4 days there. I got to visit 1-2 cafés everyday because breakfast wasn't included in the hotel, therefore I had perfect excuse to go cafe-crawling in New York every morning for breakfast.
